Abstract

This article discusses the exhaustive study of resonances in Subsea Power Systems (SPS) through the interaction of harmonics, caused by diode rectiers, and a comparative study of possible solutions to the problem. For this purpose, a large volume of simulations was carried out in the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation environment, in its parallel processing environment, to check for indications of the existence of problems in an subsea distribution system.
