Abstract
Problem-based learning (PBL) is one of the most innovative pedagogies and is currently one of the most widespread in the world. It uses an instructional approach centered on the student, which is responsible for, from the investigation of ill-structured problems, self-directing and self- regulating their learning, with the teacher playing the role of a learning facilitator. This work proposes a methodology for the application of PBL in the teaching of digital electronics content for undergraduate courses. The proposed methodology fits PBL to the new required competence in Brazilian engineering courses, expanding the students’ skills. Finally, we present the results of evaluation forms of two disciplines using the proposed methodology.
