Abstract

This work addresses the problem of regional stability analysis of discrete-time linear systems subject to asymmetric control saturation. Conditions to assess the exponential stability of the origin using piecewise quadratic functions as Lyapunov candidates are proposed. Estimates of the region of attraction of the origin are obtained as level sets of those functions and additional conditions to obtain better estimates considering some size criteria are discussed. A numerical example shows the applicability of the proposed method.
