Abstract

In this paper we propose a strategy to detect covert attacks on cyber-physical systems by extending the original plant with an auxiliary system. This auxiliary system is designed as a Markovian jump system. A detection system composed by a Kalman filter is presented. The efficacy of the proposed method is illustrated by a simulation example.
