Abstract

The use of computer simulations allowed some of the research carried out by the PET group in the robotics laboratory of CEFET-MG in Divinópolis to continue during the pandemic period. As a way of recommending the use of simulators in academic activities, this article deals with some details of realistic simulators such as CoppeliaSim and the Webots. It is also shown as an example the accomplishment of a research, the development of a game of pick up and throw boxes in the Webots. The use of this simulator also allowed the continuity of both the Seeds Project and the Internal Robotics Competition.
