Abstract
In line with the rapid increase in the use of renewable energy sources, this work proposes the application of a three-phase multilevel frequency inverter composed of two cascade inverters in photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems. This topology was originally proposed for machine control, but its advantages in energy efficiency and the reduced number of devices compared to other topologies already consolidated in the literature, make it a viable alternative for application in energy generation systems.
