Abstract

The present work aims to make a comparison between two control strategies in a multivariable system. Using a three-port DC-DC converter as the application, the strategies discussed are the decentralized control (k-factor method) and the Linear Quadratic Gaussian Compensator - LQG (centralized control). The controller designs are carried out and simulation results are presented in order to support the work.
