Abstract

In recent decades, the search for alternative energy sources with low environmental impact has intensified. In this context, the concept of Energy Harvest emerged, which refers to the use of ambient energy and its conversion into electrical energy in order to power low- power electronic devices. Among the most varied forms of energy available in the environment, thermal energy has been highlighted, particularly in the conversion of thermal energy into electrical energy through Semiconductor Thermoelectric Generators (TEGs). In this article, experimental results of the behavior of a commercial TEG will be shown when subjected to different thermal standards applied to it. For this, a generator of thermal patterns was developed using the software LabVIEW, making it possible to determine values of temperatures that will be submitted to the TEG with the support of a Thermal Emulation Platform. Therefore, it is possible to analyze the dynamics of the electrical voltage effectively generated by the TEG in different thermal scenarios.
