Abstract

This work presents a methodology for implementing the Local Modular Control Structure in Function Blocks of the IEC 61499 standard, in which the OPC-UA protocol is used in the communication between the plant and the controller. The presentation of the methodology is based on a case study, developed on a virtual plant of the FACTORY I/O, and the control of this plant is done through the FORTE execution environment, of the Eclipse 4diac platform.
