Abstract

State estimation (SE) exclusively via phasor measurement units (PMUs) assumes greater relevance as this technology spreads throughout electrical systems. Seeking to enable the processing of topology errors in the network configuration effectively in SE via PMUS, this work proposes the representation of the network at the bus section level so that the configuration of certain substations can be explicitly represented. The article presents the proposed formulation and the algorithm for linear generalized SE via PMUs, as well as exposing the results obtained through simulation of an illustrative test system.
