Abstract

This article presents the modeling of a high-voltage step-up substation with a double busbar arrangement with a single-breaker to four-switches configuration, using the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology. Using Revit software, the main modeling steps are outlined, covering both equipment and the entirety of the substation, specifying the advantages and potential of BIM implementation in substation projects.
