Abstract

This article presents a research approach related to the study, analysis and proposition of a drive system for an electric tractor applied to family farming. According to the literature review, there is little research related to this type of vehicle, compared to that related to urban electric vehicles. Within the specific characteristics of electric propulsion, suitable for a low-power tractor for small agricultural producers, the essential objective of developing this research is related to the proposition of a vehicle with an on-board electric propulsion and control system with the aim of guaranteeing maximum efficiency. traction and greater energy efficiency in agricultural activities in family farming.
