Abstract

The demands and complexities of industrial problems make it difficult to teach concepts and theories in practical disciplines such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in an engaging way. To address this challenge, a proposed solution involves developing hardware and software with features and functions that enable their wide application in teaching experiments. This system allows for the acquisition of analog and digital signals, supports sensors that use the I2C communication protocol, and includes a direct current load drive system. The embedded programming, written in C language, offers a set of functions that can be customized according to the user's needs. The proposed solution was evaluated through two experiments, the first being an open-loop experiment and the second being a closed-loop control application. The results indicate that this device has the potential to be used as an auxiliary tool for a variety of practical and experimental disciplines.
