Abstract

This article aims to describe in detail the process of developing a prototype for an automated electric egg incubator. The system's proposal is to integrate IoT (Internet of Things) knowledge to make the necessary equipment for the incubation process accessible to small poultry producers. To achieve this integration, technologies such as the CallmeBot API and libraries compatible with the NodeMCU ESP32 module, along with sensors for monitoring the environment inside the incubator and the presence of hatched eggs, were used. These tools were employed with the aim of ensuring precise and efficient control of the internal conditions of the incubator, such as temperature, humidity, and egg rotation. Throughout the development, it was possible to observe that the project represents a significant technological advancement in the agricultural field. The automation provided by IoT simplifies and optimizes the incubation process, enabling more efficient production with lower costs for small producers.
