Abstract

Voltage control on the DC side is one of the main challenges faced in the implementation of multi-terminal direct current (MTDC) systems, as it is closely related to the power flow of the components present on this side. Achieving effective control can be accomplished through voltage regulation on the DC side. Thus, this article proposes a study on an MTDC system composed of four converter stations, using the Master-Slave control strategy. This approach involves DC voltage regulation by a single station, while the others are responsible for power control. The efficiency of the control system is verified through simulation.
