Abstract

This work presents the development of electronic systems for intelligent autonomous packaging for the cold chain of healthcare systems that enable the safe transport of products of human origin, organs and tissues for transplants, in addition to vaccines, medicines and hospital supplies. The system includes several 4.0 Industry enabling technologies, such as sensing, georeferencing, Internet of Things (IoT), and temperature control system. This work focuses on the development of electronic embedded systems in order to get precise temperature control in packaging, maintaining adequate conditions for transport and guaranteeing the quality and preservation of the products, organs or tissues that are being transported. The electronic system developed and implemented allows the organ transport procedure to be improved, resulting in an innovative and functional product.
