Abstract

This article presents the implementation of an energy equalization system for lithium cells using the energy dissipation method. The system introduced is low-cost, easy to implement, and ensures energy balance between cells, making it a viable option for commercial lithium battery applications. The implemented methodology includes practical tests and simulations to evaluate the performance of the entire system. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the method in maintaining balance and longevity of cells with good accuracy, contributing to the advancement in the development of equalization systems for batteries, with potential applications in various areas such as electric vehicles, renewable energy storage, electric forklifts, among others.
