Monitoring and Data Modeling of IEC 61850 in Industrial Plants: Case Study

Abstract

In light of the need for accurate real-time data acquisition and the optimization of industrial plants, the general objective of the article is to propose an integrated monitoring model for industrial processes and electrical installations based on the use of the IEC 61850 standard. Through the research process, it was possible to conclude the feasibility of expanding the IEC 61850 data modeling within the industrial sector.
