Abstract

This work presents a study on the behavior of the main electromechanical oscillation modes characteristic of the Brazilian Interconnected Power System (BIPS) throughout the years 2022 and 2023. The estimation methodology applied to environmental data consists of signal processing techniques and the parametric identification method CCA (Canonical Correlation Analysis). The signals are obtained through the Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs) installed at low-voltage points in many regions of the BIPS, based on the infrastructure of the Medfasee-BT Project.
