Abstract

This work deals with the feedback linearization control for the maximum power point tracking in a photovoltaic system with a buck converter. Considering a maximum power voltage-based control strategy, the P&O algorithm is used to provide the voltage reference associated with the maximum power point of the system. To track the voltage reference, a feedback linearization control is employed. As a contribution, this article performs the stability analysis of the closed-loop system for a given operating point considering the internal dynamics analysis. The effectiveness of the proposed strategy is illustrated via numerical simulations.
