Abstract

The Power Sector has undergone profound changes on a global scale. Furthermore, modern power systems have shown high degrees of complexity. The literature comprehensively addresses synchrophasors-based monitoring schemes related to WAMPAC systems, defined as systems which is designed to perform protection and control actions throughout the electric network. However, there is a lack of research regarding communication systems for synchrophasor applications for electric synchronism-check among electric systems. In this regard, this paper proposes using specified modelling in 90-5 Technical Report of the IEC 61850 standard jointly of the electric synchro-check modelling among electric systems. The results show the correct operation of the proposal and prove its implementation feasibility.
