Abstract

The servo mechanism system is commonly used in introductory experiments in Control Laboratory. In this work, the experimental environment of the servo mechanism (MS15) is equipped with IoTControl, providing remote access via the Internet of Things to the control plant. Thus, the implementation of the open-source framework for servo mechanism control facilitates laboratory experimentation, providing graphical results and records to analyze the dynamic behavior of the system, and allows the user to visualize the behavior of the control plant through a camera. As an example of application, a model-free control based on ultra-local algebraic estimator is considered for the angular position loop. The results and conclusions are presented.
