Abstract

This work proposes convex conditions to synthesize an event-triggered control mechanism for discrete-time piecewise affine linear systems represented in implicit form and controlled via a network. Assuming that a given state feedback controller has been previously computed to ensure the uniform exponential stability of the origin considering a time-triggered implementation, the objective is to design a event-triggering mechanism to keep stability and to reduce the number of transmissions. A numerical example illustrates the application of the methodology, presenting the designed event generator and the estimation of the attraction region from the origin.
