Abstract

Electricity distribution companies need to have the correct identification of the topology of the distribution network, whether to meet regulatory requirements or to assist in system operation and planning issues. The implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) projects has the potential to contribute to this task by providing data from smart meters. In this context, this work proposes the application of a methodology to identify the transformer-user relationship using smart meter data on a real secondary circuit of Celesc Distribuição. Furthermore, the relationships determined by the methodology are compared with visual field inspections. The results were positive, achieving an accuracy of over 90% for physically validated cases.
