Abstract

This paper presents a novel approach for voltage stability assessment considering multiple load growth directions. In this case, the loadability factors are assumed to be different for each load bus of the network considering a power system monitored continuously by Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs). The impact of the integration of renewable energy sources is also analyzed. Computational simulations are performed using the IEEE 14-bus test system in order to prove the viability of the proposed method.
