Abstract

In this work, an automation project was designed to control the conductivity and pH of the nutrient solution of a hydroponic system, aiming to demonstrate the advantages this cultivation method offers in conjunction with automation. During the development of this project, systems were identified, resulting in the implementation of two control loops using proportional, integral, and derivative controllers, tuned using the root locus method. Finally, the result obtained in a real system was compared with the expected result through simulation of the controller designed for the system.
