Abstract

In light of the significant demand for electrical energy consumption driven by globalization and population growth, the increase in societal energy needs has become imperative, leading to the pursuit of renewable energy sources, with a strong emphasis on distributed generation. The emergence of distributed generation systems from solar sources is a means to diversify the national interconnected energy matrix, bringing generation points closer to loads. Due to the growth in the number of distributed generation connections, there is a need to analyze the impact of disturbances generated by these connections on the distribution network. The regulatory model anticipates that the connection of distributed systems does not compromise the quality of electricity supply to consumers nor the performance level of the distribution network. Therefore, the objective of this project is to analyze, through the Electric Networks Analysis program - ANAREDE, in an adapted IEEE 9-bus system, the disturbances caused by the insertion of distributed generation into distribution systems under high loading, in the vicinity of the busbar.
