Abstract

This work presents a parametric identification methodology for the equivalent circuit model of a lithium ion cell. Due to the non-linearities of the system, a piecewise identification strategy was followed, where methods such as subspace identification, least squares and non-linear optimization were used. The model obtained was then validated using data from different tests, thus showing the robustness of the presented methodology.
