Fabricação de uma Bancada Didática de Baixo Custo para Ensino de Controle Automático e Otimização

Abstract

This paper presents a low-cost didactic bench for flow measurement that enables the teaching of automatic control and economic optimization from the perspective of the control pyramid. The mechanical and electronic assembly stages of the proposed equipment are detailed, and the project files are available online to facilitate reproduction and improvement from the perspective of open science. Additionally, a didactic roadmap for using the bench is proposed, from which illustrative results are presented to exemplify the applicability of the bench. Finally, it is argued that the experiment favorably meets Balchen’s requirements for a good practical experiment in teaching automatic control.
