Abstract

This paper presents an isolated system for transmitting PLC signals, in the frequency range of 100 kHz to 500 KHz, interconnecting the low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) circuits of the electrical distribution network using the power transformer as part of the isolated system circuit. To prove the effectiveness of the system, results of communication tests in substations of an underground reticulated system are presented, using the proposed solution.
