Abstract

The proposition of this system is an initiative that aims to develop an advanced monitoring system for tools and molds utilized within thermoplastic stamping and injection processes, using Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. We propose a network of intelligent sensors that collect real-time data on the operating conditions of equipment. Such an approach enables the implementation of predictive maintenance, thereby optimizing asset utilization, and reducing operation costs through early detection of failures and wear. Moreover, the project undertakes to operational sustainability by improving energy efficiency and reducing material waste. By extending the operational lifespan of the equipment and enhancing the quality of end products, this endeavor reinforce its multifaceted benefits. The integration of data streams within cloud infrastructure furnishes a comprehensive perspective on asset performance, thereby facilitating both strategic and operational decision-making processes.
