Abstract

This work proposes to establish less conservative Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) conditions for the synthesis of robust controllers for Single Input Single Output (SISO) uncertain systems, without superior order restrictions. The treatment of uncertainties was possible due to the use of appropriate system representation, allowing the decision variables to be independent of system parameters. The strategy developed constitutes a design condition for PID controllers for uncertain static output feedback systems, with performance guaranteed by the use of the concept of D-Stability, also counting on the presence of scalar parameters, whose variation allows exploring different performance specifications.
