Abstract

The gas chromatography process has been widely used in well-drilling operations. Precision and reliability in reading chromatographic data are necessary for the analyzes performed to be correct and in accordance with the reality of the well. This work proposes an embedded system to automate the gas chromatography process in order to apply it in mud logging operations. The proposed system was implemented and tested in a simulated environment and a real situation.
