Abstract
This article presents the creation of a tool using the Monte Carlo Method (MMC) to assess the main impacts inherent to the high insertion of distributed photovoltaic generators (PV) in distribution networks in order to estimate the Hosting Capacity (CH). In general, the MMC consists of the possibility of creating several random scenarios, and the position of each PV system is drawn by the software according to the curves of the probability profiles of consumers with a greater probability of adopting the PV system as the relationship of the purchasing power and installed load, consumption, consumer education levels, in addition to the influence of the neighboring effect on possible installation. The algorithm is implemented in Python programming language, which uses the DLL interface of the Open Distribution System Simulator (OpenDSS) software for power flow simulations. The case study is carried out considering a test network and analysis of the main associated impacts.
