Abstract

This paper presents an open source set of interactive tools for teaching analysis and design of classical controllers. The tool is a Python-based software and considers different structures used in an introduction to process control lecture at UFSC, as like ON-OFF controller and PID controllers. The main characteristics of these proposed tools are the simplicity and interactivity, as they allow to analyse and notice the impact of changing the controller and model parameters.
