Abstract

Practical learning in the field of engineering is crucial for the education of students and future engineers. However, not all disciplines have the necessary resources to facilitate such hands-on experiences. With this motivation, a study was conducted to develop a didactic plant for disciplines related to control, enabling the implementation of PID control for variables such as temperature and humidity with the support of the ESP32 microcontroller. The design of the didactic plant architecture was carried out within the context of theMicroprocessed and Supervisory Systems course. As part of the project evaluation, a study was conducted to identify the components required for the hardware implementation of PID control. Preliminary results of the project have been achieved, marking the completion of the initial stage of its creation process. The selected components have proven to be efficient for their designated functions, and it is anticipated that they will be integrated in the future, leading to the construction of the didactic plant.
