Abstract

This article analyzes the first results obtained from the energy prospecting of tidal currents and wind energy in the region of Ilha do Caranguejo, São Marcos Bay. Preliminary results indicate that this area has significant potential in terms of ocean energy. As for wind measurements, although partial, the indicators illustrate a significant potential above 100 m, suggesting initiatives for the data collection on a larger time scale.
