Abstract
Robotic manipulators are an interesting alternative for efficient and versatile automation for a variety of tasks, including PCB labeling. In this context its final element, composed of an actuator and a clamp, plays an intrinsic role in the accurate capture and manipulation of these components. This paper presents an additive manufacturing methodology for a pneumatic gripper development, encompassing mechanical force analysis, modeling, validation testing, and integration with a robotic arm. Additionally, the study will compare the performance of two commonly used materials, PLA and ABS, to determine their suitability for gripper construction. As a result of this implmentation was improved significantly the efficiency of the labeling process, reduced production time and increased precision in component manipulation.
