AbstractThis paper presents a distributed generation system using a power static converter connected to mains through an LCL filter. The control law is based on state feedback. The system is modelled in synchronous reference allowing the use of integral actions for eliminating state-steady errors for active and reactive powers and DC voltage controls. The feedback gains are calculated using the Linear Quadratic Regulator methodology and starting from Bryson’s rule a procedure to tune the control gains are shown based on the dynamic response of the system. Besides that, a reduced-order observer is included to reduce the required number of sensors in the output filter. Simulation results are presented to verify the control law and the estimated states in this work.
