Abstract

In this paper the dynamic performance of an Eletric Power System (EPS) under several levels of penetration of Utility-scale Solar Photovoltaic generation is discussed. Furthermore, control strategies are proposed, based on the optimization of performance indexes and pole placement control, which can mitigate the impact of UFV on the damping of the system electromechanical oscillations.
