Inclusão do Efeito da Frequência em um Método Alternativo de Integração das Equações de Estado de Linhas de Transmissão

Abstract

This article proposes an alternative method to compute the currents and voltages along overhead transmission lines (TL) represented by the lumped model using a cascade of p-circuits, considering the frequency effect on the longitudinal parameters of the line. The alternative method simplifies the formation of state matrices reducing their dimensions, without affecting the performance of the simulations. The alternative method was used to compute the electromagnetic transients resulting from the switching maneuver in an overhead transmission line in several scenarios. The results demonstrated that the alternative method has the same precision as the classic method, and the dimensions of the state matrices are much smaller in comparison with those employing the classic approach.
