Abstract

This article presents an approach based on the Flower Pollination Algorithm to solve the radial distribution network reconfiguration problem considering photovoltaic systems. The objective function minimizes the energy losses in the network. Four different cases are presented to analyze the impact of network reconfiguration and photovoltaic systems on the objective function of the problem. The tests are carried out through a distribution system of 33 nodes and 37 lines, considering an average load curve provided by a local distributor and a photovoltaic system connected to a medium voltage consumer located in Santo Andr´e. The results show a reduction of up to 35% of energy losses using the proposed approach, which indicates a technique that is efficient, robust and suitable for large systems. approach..
