Typology of residential load curves, harmonic distortion, power quality, classification techniques, technical losses, billing measurement
Abstract
This paper presents the results of applying a clustering methodology to obtain the harmonic typology of residential loads, considering both amplitude and phase angle for different orders of harmonic currents. For this purpose, the k-means clustering methodology was used, as well as the results of a measurement campaign carried out in the concession area of a large electric utility. The results obtained allowed the temporal characterization of the harmonic flow direction in the connection branches of residential low voltage consumers, duly stratified into different consumption classes.
