This article deals with the development of an experimental bench with two coupled tanks, which consists of controlling the fluid level of the lower tank, in closed loop, through a pump that feeds the upper tank. This type of system is of fundamental importance in the teaching of classical control theories, and allows the implementation of modern control theories. The objective of this work is to develop an experimental bench with two coupled tanks and carry out experiments applying robust control programmed in an Arduino microcontroller. After the construction of the bench, obtaining the physical-mathematical model and its linearization, controller design and subsequent discretization, it was possible to control the fluid level and test the controllers performance and his response quality. From the experiments carried out, the functioning of the bench is proven through the implementation of a PI control and its value as an experimental bench for the teaching of control theory, enabling the implementation of different control techniques.
